Walk in Interview for India Post (PLI RPLI Direct Agent) in Burdwan Postal Division

                Walk-in Interview 

Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices, Burdwan Division, Burdwan- 713101 will conduct “walk-in-interview for empanelment/engaging Direct Agents for sale of Postal Life Insurance/Rural Postal Life Insurance products.

   Interested candidates fulfilling the conditions below may attend “walk-in-interview to be held in the O/o the Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices, Burdwan Division, Burdwan- 713101 at 11:00 hours on 23.07.2021 & 12.08.2021 

    Candidates must come with their bio-data, proof of age/educational qualification/required certificate and experience, if any.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

1. Qualification: The applicant must have passed 10th standard or equivalent examination conducted by a Board recognized by Central/ State Govt.

2. Age : 18 to 50 years

3. Categories: Unemployed/Self-employed youth, Ex-life Insurance Advisors/Ex Agents of any insurance Company, Ex serviceman, Anganwadi workers, Mahila Mandal workers, Retd. Teachers, SHGs, Gram Pradhan, Member of Gram Panchayet or any intending person having above qualifications.

4. Desirable: Experience in selling Insurance Products, knowledge of computers/knowledge of local area.

5. A cash Security Deposit of Rs.5000/- will be required to furnish by the selected Direct Agents in the form of Post Office National Saving Certificates(NSC)/Kisan Vikas Patra(KVP) to be pledged to the President of India as Security. The Security will be released on termination of the engagement of the person as Direct Agent. The NSC or KVP will be kept in the custody of the Divisional Head.

6. Selected candidates should not be an agent/sales force of any other insurance company/organization.

7. Candidates should strictly follow social distancing norms and wear mask attending the Walk-in – interview on the scheduled date.
