*1. A minimum critical supply of certain essential items such as drinking water, first aid kit, etc to be arranged and kept for further requirements.*
*2. In vulnerable area precautions should be taken for safety of electrical and electronic equipment.*
*3. All windows and doors should be secured, computers peripherals must be unplugged, exposed wires to be safe guarded most urgently.*
*4. Since heavy rain might cause flooding and water logging in and around , the building , bags , parcel and important papers , electrical and electronic items should be kept away from windows, and preferably on shelves, tables, or cupboard.*
*5. In BOs, where solar panel is installed, BPM must remove those solar panels from roof top.*
*6. BPMs must keep their RICT device to be shut down and IPPB mobile phones to be switched off and they are asked to ensure that their devices and phones must be unplugged.*
*7. In case of warning of impending cyclone and rain all staff, delivery officials, mail vans etc to take shelter immediately in office or the nearest building.*
*8. Advice of local administration regarding shifting into shelters of safe locations should be followed.*
*9. Officials are asked to close the office as soon as possible and return home before the storm.*
*10. Important equipment, Computers, Cash, Stamp, Important records should be kept safely.*
*11. Mobile Phones, Power Banks etc should be fully charged before hand.*
*12. The Sify switch and routers, computers, printers, UPS must be unplugged.*
*13. Be alert and kept yourself informed through the Radio/ TV news.*
*14. Other Covid 19 protocols issued by govt. time to time must be followed.*
